Started his career as an IRS officer of 1993 exam batch and since then has served at various levels of Government.
Furthering pursuing a future in the private sector, managing the Railway Operations in Chakradharpur where Ashutosh handled major coal mines (BCCL), cement plants of ACC (Jhinkpani), L&T (dhutra), and La Farge at Tata; and later managed operations in two steel plants (TISCO and BSL at Bokaro).

In 1999, Ashutosh went on deputation to a Container Corporation of India , western region headquartered at Ahmedabad as working as Chief General Manager heading both the domestic and international terminals. The 52 km port connectivity to Adani, and subsequently went to join as the Commercial head of Ahmedabad division.
In 2004 Mr Chandra worked on another deputation to Ministry of Finance as Director Finance, Govt of India looking after all World Bank projects and was there till 2007.
Later relocated to Mumbai and was the Safety head for both Western and Central railway. Reorganizing a remarkable improvement in safety including the introductions of AWS, TRI. It was during this period that PRT was developed as a brilliant model for transportation by my colleagues in London.
In 2017 Ashutosh perused a degree in Law , joined the PRT project along with Mr Das as a full-fledged mission for providing an alternate to the solution of urban development.
In 5 years’ time we are the only system in the world to run successfully without a single incidence of failure in last 5 years, and aided in the expansion in to 26 cities in India and 16 cities across World.

Mr. Chandra has a wide variety of experiences from logistics to finance to international trade and funding and real state apart from having acquired legal and macro/micro financing modules.
